Goodbye Psystar, I never knew you..

By Teejay Valerio (Dec 3, 2009)

I've had MacOS 10 running on my of my partitions on one of my desktops for just about a year now. Is it impressive? Could be. Is it a life changer? Meh. To tell you the truth, I haven't really felt the need to consistently run the 'highly touted' Apple OS on a daily basis. What does the 'Empire' have to say about people like myself who run their software on Mac Clones? Read on for today's morning tidbit about the Apple and Psystar fight.

A Decade of Entertainment

By Teejay Valerio (Dec 2, 2009)

Here's an interesting article that I came across while browsing stuff this morning. You can find it here.
It talks about the evolution of entertainment for the last decade. Most of the content is contained in the comments. I just found it very intriguing to see just how far we've come in the span of 10 years. I still remember back to the beginning of this decade and what kind of computers I was building then, compared to the systems that I'm building now. More than just the hardware that I used, the physical process of building a system has changed so much (yet stayed so much the same in other ways). Not to mention that nowadays anyone and everyone (and their little dog too!) can build a system with ease, although cheaper retail computer systems pretty much negate the need and/or want to.

But I ramble on...anyways, take a bit of time today to have a gander at the content contained therein. I trust you'll find at least some of it interesting.

Back in the day, we used to read our books on paper!

by Teejay Valerio

I haven't jumped into the E-book trend yet (how shocking!), but I sure am tempted. With the release of the Barnes and Noble 'Nook', Amazon's Canadian Kindle, and Sony's stalwart E-Book reader, my options for an electronic reading device are more than ever before! Since I don't actually own any of these e-readers (yet...), I thought I might try to convince myself into buying one. Can I come up with a good reason or two? Read more after the break.
